I went to the dealer for my oil change and I left with new oil, new ball-joint for recall, new converter and reprogram of the PCM/TCM.

I did not have muh complains before and now I really love the CRD after the recall, the transmission acts so much better and I don't have the odd spot around 50-60 where the converter in 5th is locking and unlocking , now the 5th is always with the converter locked and the 4th to 5th is so much nicer. I am very happy with everything and now i love the CRD even more.
Here is a video of the CRD doing 0-80 after the recall was done , you can see the shifting pattern
I do run the DiGi-CR module on mine as well

It's nice to hear you had a great service experience - mine have all been very poor. I liked your video and would like you to comment a little more on your DiGi CR module. Does it have multiple settings and does it throw your jeep into limp mode in any of the settings?

I'm looking for a modest gain in HP and torque just for the fun of it.

The dealer here in Cincinnati is great and i am sure this makes a big difference when you need to have the service/recall done. I think also I was very lucky to show up there when we had the ice storm and the transmission tech was there and they had all the part in the shop.
The DiGi CR has multiple settings 0 to F. I run my on E. I did try to run it on F but the CRD goes into limp mode once in a while. It does transform your engine. I have a nice long steep hill on the highway and without the DiGi-CR the CRD can't go over 70mph in 5th. Using the DiGi-CR the CRD goes 80-90-100 in 5th. I have never done a side by side test with two CRD, but if you like we could do that to see the difference.

But back to the topic and recall, to me it was worth it and painless.

Which dealer did you use. I would be willing to drive the 45 minutes it takes to get there for a good dealer. If we ever meet we can do that side by side comparison if you would like 8)

From the video, it looks like your 0-60 time is around 9-10 seconds.

I was not trying to do a 0 to 60 type of thing . I went back to the video time laps and check the frames and the time. If I am right with the video time laps the 0 to 60 was in 8.72 s. I am sure it can be done better if the engine rev higher at the start.
