If you click under profile and see all posts - it shows 3 posts on the 8th and 7 on the 7th - and they all show - were there more? or was it a delay?

You probably didnt see your posts right away because IE is set by default to not check for a newer webpage everytime. So you could just be seeing a cached/old page stored in your temp internet files. Until IE decides to check again.
You can change this behavior by going to:
Tools --> Internet Options --> General
Click the settings Button under the "Browsing History" Section.
Change the first section to "Everytime I visit the Page".
Click OK, then Ok Again.

IE will now refresh the page at every visit.
Only downside is browsing could be a bit slower, but its not noticeable on a high speed connection.
HTH.
