Post subject: | Diesel Prices vs. Gasoline |
I noticed in the past week that gas prices were shooting up again. When I checked Hess today I noticed Regular at 2.45 per gal and diesel at 2.49 per gal. It looks like diesel is finally leveling out to regular gas prices. Makes me glad I brought a diesel. Does any other member noticed the same in thier neck of the woods? |

RUG has jumped to $2.40 and ULSD went from $2.42 to $2.59 a gallon here in SE MO and from what they say on the "news" it is due to increase in fuel use and lack of refinery output. ![]() ![]() |

Same here. My wife has opted to driving the Buick 70 miles a day to and from work. It gets 33 mpg on the highway versus the CRD's 27. The days are getting longer so not much worry about her having to run the deer gauntlet. She did like the CRD lights compared to the Buicks during winter. Now, she just drives the CRD 1-2 days a week just for kicks. |

Hopefully diesel will drop a little by april/may (not as much demand for home heating oil). |

In germany: 1 liter diesel = 1.15 Euro => $5.71/gallon That would be $115 to fill up our CRD's. Im paying $51 right now to fill up so I think we're still pretty OK. Oh and Regular gas, which is 95 octance in germany costs about 1.28 euro per liter, depending where you are. So if you drive a gasser KJ its $128 to fill up. My mom has to fill up her gasser KJ 1.5 times a week, which would cost us $190 a WEEK!!! |
