Have any one installed a CCV filter on the CRD? I need some help on where to connect the hoses.

Thanks,

outlet from the ccv on top of the motor goes to the inlet on the filter. Outlet of filter goes to where the ccv used to go..

lol..simple yet effective.

I heard that even if you use a CCV filter, you will still get oil in CAC hose. Can anybody confirm this?

Yep, soaking wet. Provent helps but the CCV is not the only source of CAC contamination. FYI: I collected @ 3/4 quart of oil from the Provent on the last OCI so it's better than nothing.

I collect approx. 1 ounce of oil from the collection tube I have at the bottom of my provent every week.
