Excellent mileage and congrats on having a trouble-free experience! My best (of any real length) has been about 29 mpg on a trip to raleigh NC from Atlanta but that was before my first oil change....so I'm bound to get a little better today. I'm itching to visit the relatives in Tacoma WA |

fantastic mileage, I ran an 800 mile round trip, and a 850 mile trip from SLC after purchase, got around 28 mpg and no hassles either time, have run into a bit of a fuel burp twice now, will be priming the filter weekly from now on. what do you run for your average speed? |

Great mileage! Best I could get from Phoenix to Seattle was 27 mpg running @ 70-75 mph. Like yours, she performed like a trooper! |

Going to do a 2600 mile round trip to TX next week. I'm wondering just what this beast wiil get - since the ORM, I've gotten two 500+ mile tanks in a row with just local driving. I was tempted to put in the Suncoast TC before the trip, but a little karmic voice in the back of my head said I'd best not go screwing around with a tranny that still seems to be functioning flawlessly before tromping off out into the boonies! |

Headed out in two days through Iowa and Minnesota on I-35 will be in Independence MO on Saturday. Should get a good feel for freeway mileage by the end of this trip on Monday. Silver with a BIG front guard if you see me. |

Kyle, on I-35 between Austin and San Antonio. Going to a young lady's high school graduation. Also check up on some land I just bought, in the Mystic Shores development up on Canyon Lake, west of New Braunfels. Probably start down Wednesday of next week, get there Thursday evening, start back on Monday morning. Just a good stretch of the legs for this diesel, 1300 miles one way, only have to stop for fuel twice. I'll be in a Stone White Sport, NC tags, a tire cover that says "Abernethy CJD Lincolnton NC" with a map of the state, and an "NC Biodiesel Association" bumper sticker on the rear glass drivers side. |
