I dropped off my '05 Sport w/ 30000 miles today for the F37 recall.
I will be out of town all next week so they will have plenty of time to
hopefully get it right.
I dropped it off at Garber Auto Mall here in Green Cove. They have only
been a Jeep dealer for like 2 months. But they have been a long time
Dodge dealer and the SM assured me that he has 3 good diesel techs and
2 good transmission techs.
I've had my CRD for a month now and have had zero transmission
problems, but I like the idea of getting a new torque converter and trans
pump. However, I hate the idea of getting the PCM reprogrammed.
Anyway, new hardware is always a good idea.

I assumed that because they already ordered the TC, pump, and trans
cooler that it was all included. But I guess it could be on an "as needed"
basis.
I also asked them since they would be removing the cooler/condensor
if they could inspect the intercooler and clean it out if necessary.

F37 does not automatically include a new pump - only if they hear it making noises - otherwide it's the TC and reflash.

If I had to do it over again - I wouldn't. Mine had no problems before and I hated the new TC - I changed it to the Suncoast - and that's better - but still not back to original.

Picked up the CRD yesterday.
I guess you were right, they only replaced the TC. I was really hoping
they would replace the pump too.
I drove it home and checked things out. Looks like they did a good job.
It drove the same and fluid level was good.

If I have problems with this TC, I wonder if my extended warranty will
cover the cost of a Suncoast?
