Does the SEGR also disable the anti shudder valve?
Yes, while the transmission is not in Park or Neutral. It works as designed to shut the engine down smoothly, but is held open during driving.

So, if I put the jeep in park, and turn off the key, the anti shudder valve will not close the intake, but if I do the same in D or R it will??

No, the opposite.

I can't find the price or a pic of the parts. I have a buzzing noise after I shut down the engine. Sounds and feels like the EGR valve. I can feel it vibrating. It lasts about 5 to 10 seconds and then quits buzzing.......Help!

Cost varies, as you usually have to obtain a SEGR from someone who already owns one... I don't believe they are making any more kits.

Skill level is pretty high, if you get an unassembled kit. Requires cutting wires and soldering in new connections, I do believe. For $100 or so, more, you can get a tune from GDE (greendieselengineering.com) that will kill the EGR and improve a number of other parameters on your Jeep, including mpg. Well worth the extra cash, IMO.

In fact, I'm pretty sure interest in SEGRs died right around the time GDE announced their product a year ago....

It seems GDE wants 450.00 for the eco tune by sending in the ecu
or if you use the flash tool kit is 300.00 to use flash tool with refund or 350.00 to buy it and like 500.00 for the tunes, If i read the website correctly, seems so costly compared to performance options for the Powerstrokes :dizzy:

Yes, but their tune does far more than your run of the mill performance option... It's not a box; they mess around with parameters that I've never even heard of, and they did extensive testing prior to releasing their ECO Tune. Best money I have ever spent on my Jeep, hands down. It has much better acceleration and torque, smoother shifting, about 15% better fuel economy, etc. etc. And, like I said, costs only about $100 more than the SEGR... Far more bang for your buck, and worth every penny.
