Has anyone installed a second battery on a CRD? and which wire did you hook up to the isolator? |

I am going to Baja and will use an Engle refer. so thought about putting another battery in the back. I was afraid the battery would run down over night. I found a device that hooks on to the battery and turns off the power if the battery drops below 12.2, so will not need another battery. |

Been thinking about how to do that to add a yellow top. If you make some changes it looks like you can mount a second battery next to the first one if you turn it around. You would have to make a custom battery tray for the two. But it looks like a possible way to add the second battery. Anyone have any ideas?? |

I'm adding a device about 4.5" wide about 6" tall and about 2" deep, it will just barely fit, where would you put another batt? I'd love to do that. |

There was a thread here about an Aussie Co. that makes a new pan for a second battery in the engine compartment. Maybe a search? |
