Yipes! I'm glad I opted for the Mopar bike rack!

Late yesterday afternoon when I got home and opened mhy Thule recall the were closed for the day, the East Coast/West Coast thing. I called again this morning and a somewhat flustered yet pleasant young lady promptly tookmy information and will be sending me my retro kit in about 10 days. She was flustered because I was the only customer she had talked to that knew the model number of my rack!!!!!

Tonight when I got home I had a call from some other Thule customer satisfaction person, unaware of my call, personally contacting me and urging me to return the call to get the recall kit ordered as a follow up to my letter from them.

Certainly it pays Thule to be proactive since the kit is probably worth less than $5 and that is cheaper than returning all the $20 racks but gosh that fuel filer head on the CRD is only $150 and the CRD was $25K.

Thule get my nod of approval.
