Did you have that code before your SEGR install?

I did, I had unplugged the sensor prior to getting the SEGR kit. After I installed the kit I plugged it back in.

And it goes away withe the MAF plugged in and the SEGR removed and bypassed? If the SEGR appears to be causing the code, you may have accidentally switched some resistors or something.

I went back to my board just to double check my component placement I verified each one against the poop sheet and made sure of each resistor rating by matching the colors here: http://avishowtech.com/mbhp/res.html?result=

Everything matched exactly so I'm positive that the SEGR is correct, I'm guessing that it has to be my MAF sensor or the placement of it. I going to see if my wifes 2003 v6 Liberty has the same sensor, if so I'll going to try a swap to see if its just the sensor itself.

Thanks for the reply!

So I just finally got around to installing my SEGR pre-built kit that I’ve been sitting on for over a year. However, I’m now getting a cell, P0103 that comes on a couple minutes/seconds after I start driving….. Actually the check engine light flashes on for a moment after start up then turns off… then kicks back on after I start driving. The code is always P0103. If i clear it, much like when I was ORM'ing it stays off tell the next start-up.

From my understanding, this is a MAF related cell. So I pulled the MAF last night, cleaned it with MAF safe cleaner and reinstalled it, making sure to the connection was secure. Again the cell came on, which I cleared and then called it a night. This morning, the cell came on as I backed out my driveway and put it into drive…….

I’m stumped. Is my MAF bad? Is there something wrong with my SEGR kit/wiring?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Chris

Well possibly, ill check the code out out and see what I can find, i can say that the only time I cleaned my MAF sensor with maf safe cleaner it blew it up....... my rule now is if it hasnt got mud on it its fine.
Are you sure about the code (P0103)

It does not seem likely. The demand for this is very low. Green Diesel took most of the wind from the sails of this device with their EGR tuning. However some people are willing to part with their SEGR once they get a GDE tune, so if you really want one, be patient and one will become available.

I'm coming into this quite late in the game. Just discovered the ORM last week. What a difference already. The GDE Hot tune would be nice, but it's pricey.

Anyone have a SEGR they are not using any more?

Don't pay any more than $20 for it because the DIY ECU Flash will do the same and more for less money.
