I am a dumb stupid!!!!
I just changed the oil but I didn't look at the jug. I filled the filter with dino 10/40!!
I have mixxed syn/dino in plenty of vehicles, I don't see any reason that little bit of dino would would hurt....
Just looking for some reassurance :oops:
What are your thoughts?

I'm not into mixing oil, but since the filter is 0,5 litre and the whole oil pan is 5,5 litre you shouldn't have problems according to normal logics. Unless there is a special rule about not mixing synth and non-synth oils.

Mixing oil is never the best scenario...some additive packages do not play friendly...but such a small amount is not going to hurt anything. Mixing becomes a problem when people try to "blend" thier own and mix at 30-70 or better.

Don't worry about it. If you put mobil1 0-40 in it then it already has dino in it since the new 0-40 now has base 3 oils (they have stopped calling it full synthetic). That is why I now use mobil1 5-40 full synthetic turbodiesel truck oil, I think that the E-spec European car mobil1 might also be full synthetic but am not sure on that one.

just curious...do you have an article or know where you got that information? I just changed my oil yesterday with mobil 0-40 and it definitely said full synthetic on the bottle, unless this is the European car spec oil you are referring to. Not sure, but I know it's the same stuff I have always bought.
