I'm planning on putting in my lift pump tomorrow - I have 2 questions for those of you who have put in a lift pump already.

1.) Are the quick-disconnect fittings coming off of the fuel tank tool-less fittings (i.e. - do you press a button) or do you have to have a fuel line quick disconnect tool?

2.) Did you cut your lines? If not (which I don't want to) where did you get a line that would go in the female quick-disconnect and what kind was it?

Thanks! I'll try and get some pics posted as soon as I get this finished this weekend ....

retmil46 (Mitchell) has given a great overview of the fun part of installing the lift pump - namely tying into the existing fuel lines without cutting them - I am posting his answer in his lift pump & fuel cooler thread (which is now a sticky.)
