Well after searching for quite some time I have found the CRD replacement. It wasn't easy to do with the great mileage of the diesel, but now I won't have to worry about purging air every time I want to go for a ride. Sure been nice chatting with all you guys and I will come back here often. Thanks for all the help over the years and good luck with your projects. Here is a link to my new ride,,, it is an '05 Rubicon Unlimited with only 6800mi. http://www.gwkweather.net/id5.html |

Did you get a fair trade in? I am really looking at getting a jeep that I can wheel more than my liberty. One with a straight axle at least. What was jeep thinking, would it have been so bad to through a cherokee axle under the front ? |

Is there such a thing as a fair trade?? haha. Yes I think I did ok, still not what I could have sold it for out right, but at least they gave me about $3500 above what the black book price was. I would have kept my Libby, but just too many little things waiting to go South and my luck it would have just ran out of warranty. Not quite so worried about the Rubicon, they are built to last for ever if taken care of. |

I guess the sad thing is we the consumers always have to be their test subjects. Guess there will never be a perfect vehicle, if there ever is, no one could afford it...haha. P.S. I have my Jeep Liberty Service manual for sale in the classified section. |
