The first time this happened It was because I parked on a steep incline and the remaining fuel in my tank had gone to the opposite side of the pickup. So that is understandable. After the second time I had the fuel filter changed. I've driven it a week or so since I had the filter changed. So this happened for the 3'rd time this morning. 1. Start Car 2. Runs for 30 or seconds while getting everything situated 3. Shift into reverse 4. Shift into drive, engine stalls and quits 5. Shift into neutral 6. Restart 7. Shift into drive, engine stalls and quits 8. Shift into park 9. Restart 10. Shift into drive and drive off (Everything runs great.) What do u guys think? Fuel problem or Transmission or ...? Time to get a Dodge Ram with the Cummins??? |

sounds like air is in the fuel filter head. Open the bleeder valve and slowly pump plunger until you get fuel out the bleeder. Close the bleeder valve. Another way , start engine and race the throttle for a few seconds to suck the air out. You may need to thighten the filter a bit more. Did you oil the gasket first? |

I'll try bleeding the air and try to tighten the fuel filter. I had the stealership put the filter on so don't know if it was oil'ed. |
