I was thinking of starting a "Database" of scanner measurements collected from the folks who have products similar to the Scangauge II

I could put together a list of measurments, then y'all could fill in the numbers you get, and post it.

I will compile the data with excel over a couple of weeks, then "publish" the database with "averages".

Things that I want to get some data on, for instance;

MAP as a function of rpm. When should the boost pressure be greatest? Mine drops of after 2200 rpm.
Air temperature. With ORM / without. (Normalised with ambient temp)
Typical and Max water temps. I have seen 225 and it makes the instrument cluster gauge move a lot.
TPS = 8 when it "should" be zero, at no throttle. What are the typical no throttle and WOT values

If this post gets 7 positive responses, then I will do it. I will take suggestions for what should be in the data set.

Bill

Sure, I'll do some data collection. Not sure we need a database, just "normal" readings for each of the gauges would be cool.

Just cleaned my MAP sensor again when I did my oil change. Notice that the boost readings went as high as 32.4 after the cleaning. Before I rarely got it over 31.x. MAP sensor really wasn't that dirty, nothing compared to the really fouled condition it was in 6 months ago.
