I've posted recently about a code I'm getting in my wife's CRD, it's a P0234 high boost code. I have a scanner and got a chance to drive it yesterday and I have 3 questions for those with scan tools. Here goes: 1. What is the highest MAP reading in kilopascals you can get to register? 2. What is your MAP reading with the key on and engine off? 3. What does your MAF read with key on and engine off? My answers are: 1. 255 kpa from the MAP just before check engine light. 2. 9.4 kpa key on engine off from the MAP. 3. 2.4 grams per second with key on engine off from the MAF. Thanks in advance for any help, Tigafila

1. Largest boost pressure from MAP 30.4 psi = 209.6 kpa
2. Engine not running MAP pressure 13.7 psi = 94.4 kpa

The absolute pressure in Tucson at about 2000 ft is around 13.8 psi so I think the gauge is working about right.

Sorry, my Scangauge II does not give me the MAF value (but it is 0 if ORM=true, I believe !)

With the key off and about 11 feet about sea level I get about 100kPa, which is atmospheric pressure. The highest boost reading I have gotten is aprox 255 kPa (23 lbs of boost) if my memory serves me corectly.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer because within reason your data looks like mine. Thanks, Tigafila
