We have a 2006 Jeep liberty 4x4 Diesel which has the mopar skip plates. We would like to put on a trailer hitch. Does anyone know what make of hitch would work with the skid plates? appreciate any info Thanks |

I know the Mopar rear reciever works fine, it is what I have. Can't speak for any other brands specifically. Dave |

Most of the major brands fit just fine. |

I purchased a DrawTite hitch from etrailer.com and it didn't fit my Liberty. Etrailer.com sent a replacement hitch (same make and model) and this one ended up fitting perfectly. Apparently some hitches can bend out of spec when they are stacked on top of each other during the paint drying phase of production. So, if you buy a hitch and it doesn't line-up.. give the seller a call. etrailer.com had excellent customer service btw.. |
