for those of you familiar with the Diesel Purge process for TDIs, I'd like to pose the question of the process suitability on the CRD engines.

SO THE QUESTION IS:
is this procedure OK to do on a CRD given the CRD techonolgy that is somewhat diferrent from the TDI.

I've used this before on older VW's and on a 86 Volvo I6 TD with good results It's good stuff They also make a in "the tank version" as a preventative I suspect with our pizo injectors we'll be seeing a need for it in the future

After 400 hours of WOT at power level well exceeding the stock ratings, the tips of the injectors are still pretty clean. I wouldn't risk what that stuff would do to the pump seals and mprop. Also what's the compressibility of that stuff when it gets injected at 360bar?
