just wondering if anyone has had the in motion tune done after the f37 was carried out and if you experienced any problems i have a driveline shudder (almost like an out of balance tailshaft) when t/c is locked up and presume its the crappy oem t/c that has been used in the recall that it cant handle the extra torque i also had the pump and cooler replaced as part of the f37.... it has been suggested that it could be the air in the fuel problem but the symtom only occurs during t/c lockup under hard acceleration.. any suggestions would be very much appreciated |

G'day, mate- You should be careful nailing it from a standstill, as that's when the plastic stator is most susceptible, at 2.4:1 torque multiplication - with that said, try a Transgo reprogramming kit, will raise and stabilize apply pressures, can help smooth it out until you can get the T\C The stator has no function after turbine rpm comes up to speed - it has no function at hiway speeds - but, if you crack it on a hard launch, it's straight downhill from there, particularly if the stator roller-clutch starts coming apart. |

No worries, then, mate - low-rpm is the failure mode, so you should be safe, for a bit - for the rest, the shift kit will alleviate the symptom, but is not the full cure - sorta like the Dr telling you to take aspirin, drink plenty water, and get plenty bed-rest for a cold. I delayed my reply, as there are several members with the Suncoast upgrades who could reassure you - just do a "search" for their posts for further info |

I have the Suncoast converter and the Inmotion tune. We just got back from a 360 mile round trip towing a 5000lb trailer (see my other thread). The CRD is pretty much under boost constantly while towing this brick, and under full sustained boost in lockup going up any inclines. It handled it just fine. - Chris |
