Can't find it in the manual - haven't crawled under yet. Just want to know the general vicinity (drivers side/passenger side/front right etc).

Thanks

drivers side...its bundled up with a reusable tie. You should be able to get it from the topside.

Everyone says theirs was attached to the dipstick tube...mine was not.

Ya, my 2005 CRD came in from Arizona and it still had the heater plug zip tied to the dipstick. Guess they didn't have much use for block heaters in Arizona.

As mentioned above it's coiled up and attatched to the dip stick tube 8) Find the engine oil dip stick and look down 2 inches  Now I guess it's possible that it's not there as in removed or rerouted but that's where they were originally put :?:

Once you un-wrap it, it's a couple feet long, just about enough to snake through and around the fuse panel and up to the driver's side headlamp and out through the grille. I tie-wrapped mine in place in a couple places to keep it away from excess heat during operation and left the tail (w/rubber plug) rest in the little chamber behind the headlamp. Reachable when you need it and out of the way the rest of the time.
