Looking at purchasing the predator module for my 2006 CRD. I know this question has been asked many times and I have already searched and read, but was curious on updates from the long term users of this module. Have they ran into any major problems and are they still happy with it for pulling. Thanks.

I'm using one and couldn't use it until I did the lift pump mod. It would increase the shuttle at highway speed because of increase of hp and toque. Now it works great, I will be towing 3,000 lbs cross country starting on the 20th of this month and will give results.

I've had mine for about a year and a half. No problems. Better milage(1-3mpg), a whole lot better acceleration. We tow a 4,000 trailer with no problems. Just disconnect when you take it to the dealer for service.

I towed the loaded 3,000 lbs trailer cross country through major mountain passes and average 18 MPG. The chip did great but the transmission isn't the greatest. Had to knock it out of overdrive a few times or the torque converter will slip.
