Two dealerships... both look at me like I am crazy. They say the fuel filter gaskets are on the filter itself and no other one is needed. Of course, one dealer tried to tell me that I did not need crush washers on the oil plug either.

If I remember, you need to replace the fitler gasket when you change the fuel filter, no? If I am remembering this right, what is the part number?

One other thing, out of curiosity... how often do you need to change the coolant on this thing... and what coolant do you use?

I didn't buy an OEM but rather a NAPA and it came with the washer. I am sure that you should be able to buy one seperate but I believe the OEM comes with a new washer as well.

The fuel filter/water seperator is similar in design to an oil filter. There is a rubber gasket integral to the filter. There is also a smaller one at the bottom for the water in fuel sensor.

Good luck.
