I've noticed that on this CRD, when I put the transfer case in low range, suddenly the throttle sensitivity changes and it requires more force on the pedal to get the Jeep to move. It's like having to "re-learn" how to drive the Jeep all over again. I HATE IT.
After reading an article on the Jeep Commander, it appears that the Jeep engineers have done this on purpose to the Commander as well. Apparently, it was supposed to eliminate "jerking" when taking off in 4-low. So I guess since the CRD Liberty has an electronic throttle control system, they put this "feature" on it too.
I think it's pretty flippin' annoying. Anybody else noticed this yet? I don't even hardly use my low range on this Jeep now because of it.
