Post subject:  WIF Sensor Works! One-Off's

So I took the CRD thru the car wash tonight, and when I turned the engine back on to leave the WIF sensor turned on. I thought for a second that's weird, would my filter have a leak? Then I realized the sensor was disconnected & zip tied to the back of the firewall because I did the CAT conversion, about two seconds later it flipped back off.

This was almost as funny as when I finally figured out the sneaky place where the manual hides above the glove box. I never knew where it belonged because I asked to see the manual when I was fighting with the jackass salesman over financing.

Also, my neighbor has a CRD?! (Navy 05 Limited) with Nebraska plates, an older lady drives it, I haven't had a chance to talk to her but left her a note about L.O.S.T.

Several folks did the Cat conversion - 2 micron filter (1IR-0750)

although if people had problems with the filter head (or install) that seemed to make things worst - and there are several threads about improving the entire fuel system.
