A JD not a CRD. ![]() It has two batteries and I have a slow electical leak I can't find. I am thinking of putting in a blade type master switch. Since there are two batteries the only thing that comes close to a common is the ground. If I put the switch on the ground is is still going to work or will I still see drain. Thanks in advance. |

Well, then - here's a response from a jd: cold weather will drain a good battery over several days - will drain a bad battery overnite - if one is fair, t'other is bad, both will drain at the rate of the bad one If one ground for both battery's, disconnect the ground, then disconnect anything in the electrical system one item at a time, look for a spark as you re-connect the ground cable - when the faulty device is out of circuit, you can reconnect the cable with no spark. Try for the alternator, first |
