He's doing them in the order he received the requests, I think. I got mine a week or so ago.

Correct. I am currently half done with about 35 kits total. I expect to have them all done and shipped before the Thanksgiving holiday. If anyone needs one sooner, let me know.

OK, loco! I'm a newby here. I know what the EGR valve is. What is an SEGR?

Here's a whole slew of "I just got here and want to suck up all y'all's knowledge" links (courtesty of Darby):

Post subject:  Desperate Need of SEGR

I just bought my CRD 3 months ago and the EGR went out already. When I bought it I knew that they had problems but the dealer told me this one has already been fixed. LOL. Well 8,000 miles later and no longer under warranty the dealer wants around $500 to fix it. Well from my understanding the only real fix is to ELIMINATE it.

I drive over 100 miles a day with constant starting and stopping of the engine. I bought this for the reliability. So far I have LOVED every bit of it. I am interested in buying the whole SEGR kit from LocoCRD or UFO. Please let me know.

Also is it bad to keep driving with it the way it is? My gas mileage has not changed, it doesn't stutter, basically it is doing nothing out of the ordinary except for the check engine light being on.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP THIS SITE IS AWESOME AND IS VERY EDUCATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind this is a KIT, and requires mechanical assembly including drilling and splicing into wires.

Thanks for the heads up. I would assume that it comes with directions and a good mechanic would be able to install it. I am not going to attempt to do it myself but I also don't want to replace the EGR every time I change my oil so to say.

Thanks for the help

Any competant mechanic would be able to help, just steer them here for the documentation. Of course this is going to be a side job for them, as this modification is for OFF-ROAD only.

Well I have sold 4 of the 5 I had left, But have since been contacted by 3 more individuals(finally) who I was holding kits for. They all have elected to not pay for the kits they had requested (one guy wanted 3) so now I have 6 SEGR kits available and have edited the thread tilte to reflect this. So If you need one, want one or both ping me for info.
