| Post subject: | Downpipe bent...suggestions |
Got some damage to the little tractor and am finally getting around to fixing it. I bent the exhaust and the tip now sits up higher, so the exhaust hits the hanging plastic of the rear "bumper." As you can probably imagine, there has been some melting. There is also a horrendous amount of interior noise on heavy acceleration from the trapped air. I thought it was just a hanger that was bent, but it seems to be bent up at the down pipe. So I thought I'd ask...any aftermarket options out there? I'm going to have to fix it...might as well get something better than stock. |

The downpipe is up at the turbo outlet - that is bent, also, or you're referring to the end of the tailpipe that downturns? The piping between the engine\turbo and the muffler is exhaust pipe, incl the soot trap - muffler-back is tailpipe - if your tailpipe is bent, I would suggest a 3" cat-back system from Magnaflow, or similar - muffler and tailpipe |
