Friends, Romans, Fellow CRD Suckers, and Jagoffs that don't like me,

Thought it was worthy to note that we have had months of nothing going wrong with the Jeep...well, almost nothing.

We were able to pick up a 2003 Ford E350 12 passenger van, in excellent shape, for the low low price of a BARTER.

This has enabled us to take the day to day pressure off of the Jeep, finally.

A little here, a little there. No worries. Runs great. Still love / hate it.

Three days ago, we finally had a break into warmer weather. Once this happened, I noticed that there was a drip leak coming from one of the corners of the tranny fluid pan. RTV seal broke down due to age, in that spot.

Pulling pan, resealing, Bob's your Uncle.

That's what we got.

Good luck with yours. If you are new and considering the purchase of a KJ CRD, don't.

If you got yours rockin', enjoy.

~M~

MAP sensor: clean.
As soon as the CRD reached the limit of the warranty, CEL went on.
