A couple of weeks ago, I installed a boost sender in the CAC line coming from the turbo. It is a 6" piece of exhaust tube thatn is flared on both ends and has a bung welded in. It is hose clamped on at both ends. It works great and I see a max of 22 psi before the CAC.

On the highway today I heard a pop sound and the boost guage went to 0 while the egt's jumped 200 degrees. I pulled over and one clamp had slid off. I grabbed a screwdriver and while reconnecting it, I realized it was covered with oil from the hose. I am truely impressed with how much oil is in the lines. I tightened it up and threw on 2 more clamps from the Flying J.

I will be doing the EHM when I get home and pulling the hoses to clean them out. I wish there was an easy way to clean out the CAC. Anyone ever tried?

This takes a long time to type since its on an XO

Merry Christmas,

Travis
