Merry Christmas everybody! Safe journeys to all, and may your CRD not become a SNAFU.

I'm glad to see the word Christmas not xmas or season greetings. I will not buy from businesses that thinks taking Christ out of Christmas is politically correct. Merry Christmas to all and thanks for the past great year.

btw, I had my CRD for 2 years now and is one of the best vehicle I owned. I know I had to make a few mod to make it better and another may be on the way, but where can you find SUV that has lots of power, gives 30 MPG and tow 5000 lbs to boot.

Common misconception. Xmas is short for Christmas, not an attempt to remove Christ from the term. Christ's name in Greek is Xristos and Xmas originated from the Greeks. Its a legitimate term, not just a shortening of the name.

That said, I respect everyone, if I know they are Christian its Merry Christmas, if not, its Happy Hollidays. I work with too many varied ethnic backgrounds to get hung up on individual religious beliefs, I'm Christian but I guarantee you that at least half of my co-workers are Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim(with a few Jews as well).

Yes, I use Xmas to shorten the term, I have now carried that over to Xgiving as well.

As an avid motorcyclist, I always found it odd when people would abreviate Motorcross as Motor-X. Then, low and behold, they removed the motor completely and came up with a sport called BMX or "Bicycle Motor Cross". Wait just a dog gone minute....there is no motor on a bike!

LOL! :D

Bicycle Motocross - the word motor also means to move or be moved by some mechanical contrivance, as the leg-driven crank
