My fan wouldn't work on settings 1, 2, or 3 the other morning however it did work on 4. I called the dealer since they are 5 mins from my office and they squeezed me in. They fixed it and said it was a blower motor resistor. Anybody know what and where the blower motor resistor and how much it cost? I had it replaced under the extended warranty I purchases for the handsomly sum of $106.00. Maybe a little steep but I figured it was the lesser of two evils since their labor rate is $75/hr.
Thanks for the help.
Ye I do. It's a fairly easily gotten inexpensive part that is behind the glove box in the heater box. Held on by two screws that I think are 1/4" hex headed.
Edit. About $20 for the part and ten minutes time. But since you didn't know what it was you did the right thing

I got the extended warranty for the BIG things
