Mine was afraid to drive it when I first bought it. Then she had to make a 200 mile trip through the desert and her car was in the shop. She had no alternative than to take the Liberty. When she got back she couldn't quit talking about what a cool car it was  She takes it all of the time now! She is due for a new vehicle herself, so we might be a two Liberty family soon.

My wife takes the KJ when she needs to haul people or stuff. It's not very often, but she loves the truck. She does, however, call it the "big truck," when she takes it. Cracks me up. I have pointed out to her that the KJ is not much bigger than her DD Miata, and it has almost the same turning radius. But she still calls it "big." |

Yes she does. If the weather is bad she likes to drive it otherwise no. She doesn't like the sport seats. I guess not the same asher heated leather Infinity seats. |

Actually my wife lets me drive it sometimes...as soon as I buy her a VW Beetle Tdi I get the CRD. |

I'm trying to find a TDI Beetle for mine too. I'm just gathering the parts to get an Appleseed processor set up. She likes how tall the Libby is but, (her words) "but seriously, what could be cuter than a Beetle"?

What is SO an abbreviation for? I gather it has something to do with a girlfriend or wife? Mine doesn't like driving at all. She has her own Suzuki to get to/from work/the horse. She is scared of the KJ because we nearly ended up in a ditch when I drove it first time it rained. I was just trying to have some fun out of a roundabout, I guess fishtailing is what you guys call it 
Since that day she has been scared of it because it has so much power. Well, that's what I tell her

SO stands for Significant Other, so your girlfriend or wife or husband or boyfriend. Depends on what your flavor is
Mine has never driven any of my cars, don't know why. She always has an excuse, the Alfa was to fast, the Voyager to big, the KJ....she says I'll get a hart attack if she gets a dent or a scratch on it. |

Hi Uffe, SO is an abbreviation for Significant Other, a catch-all term for your wife/girlfriend/etc. In my house, my wife occasionally lets me drive her CRD.  I get her to sign-off on any modifications I want to make. She has her eye on the upcoming V6 TDI Touareg, and I agree it looks like a pretty slick vehicle. At that point, the CRD may become my playtoy.

yep .. the wife takes it whenever she has to drive to Shawano (Sha - no ) anf the weather is bad. normally her commute is 5-10 minutes .. but twice a week she makes the drive. note the extension cord in the drivers side handle. The temperature was supposed to be below zero F last night so I plugged it in ... didn't want her to drive off without umplugging ... although I would be more likely to do that anyway. |

and it's not that I don't trust her. She's actually quite a good driver. She just knows that I like driving it so much that she asks me to drop her off at the rail station if her car is in the shop (metro area with subways). 'Course she seldom lets me drive her A4 avant quattro either

The KJ is the wife's work truck. She's a rural mail carrier and runs 92 miles a day. A very large portion of that 92 miles is washboarded country roads. After being her chief mechanic since she started all I can say about the Libby is "AWESOME". This has to be the world's best kept secret. No other vehicle she has used can even get in the ballpark with the Jeep when it comes to endurance. She absolutely loves it. And since it's a CRD I can spend my spare time making fuel for it instead of putting it back together every day. B100 in the summer. B70/30K1 in the winter. Life is good. Clint |
