So, I am planning a 2-3k trip this spring with "Roo" (our Libby CRD). I am going to take it into the dealer for the 20-something service and ask them to do as many of the TSB as I can beg them to do. They have yet to do the ball joints, as they "are not yet indicating failure."

Anyone have any idea how I can approach the dumb arses at the dealer to get these TSBs done, so i am not stranded out in B.F.E. resting on my frame?

I pleaded with them the last big trip and explained that I would be with my wife and 2 month old, but the guy didn't flinch. I hate service guys......should not be this hard to get get service.......

Thanks for any help!

Go to here, my friend and put in VIN number and it will
show what recalls are due.

Thank ya, sir! I did and it tells me none are "required." Which is what I expected. I have had the torque converter repaired/replaced, but I am most worried about the things that are not required, that DC should consider....such as the ball joints, etc. I don't understand why failure has to occur before they will justify the repair/replacement, well, I understand but don't agree with it.

Thanks again!

If you put your vin in, than all the recalls must have been done before
u got it.
It tracks all the vehicles, knows what has been done and not been done.
I wish we had more chrysler people here, it would make easier for all
of us.
Not to sweat, go for your trip and have fun.
