Post subject:  Electric Fan Kicking On In 9 Degree Weather?
Ok, just got home, pulled up in driveway,,and the electric fan is on :shock: IT"S 9 DEGREES I wasn't really layin into it either? I'm reading threads on some crd'
s overheating in summer. HMMM What Am I missin? Ac or defrost wasn't on and temp was in middle of the guage.

The A/C runs on newer KJ's in other settings besides just A/C and defrost.

Though I don't have a CRD my KJ's electric fan turns on even when cold out,has turned on at -20 degrees and the HVAC sytem was set on vent('02 models the A/C only runs on A/c and defrost settings).Sounds pretty normal to me.

The AC will come on in the feet heat position as well but I do not know if the fan automatically comes on whenever the ac kicks in.
