| Post subject: | Service? |
So, I am planning a 2-3k trip this spring with "Roo" (our Libby CRD). I am going to take it into the dealer for the 20-something service and ask them to do as many of the TSB as I can beg them to do. They have yet to do the ball joints, as they "are not yet indicating failure." Anyone have any idea how I can approach the dumb arses at the dealer to get these TSBs done, so i am not stranded out in B.F.E. resting on my frame? I pleaded with them the last big trip and explained that I would be with my wife and 2 month old, but the guy didn't flinch. I hate service guys......should not be this hard to get get service....... Thanks for any help! |

Thank ya, sir! I did and it tells me none are "required." Which is what I expected. I have had the torque converter repaired/replaced, but I am most worried about the things that are not required, that DC should consider....such as the ball joints, etc. I don't understand why failure has to occur before they will justify the repair/replacement, well, I understand but don't agree with it. Thanks again! |

If you put your vin in, than all the recalls must have been done before u got it. It tracks all the vehicles, knows what has been done and not been done. I wish we had more chrysler people here, it would make easier for all of us. Not to sweat, go for your trip and have fun. Steve |
