Doesn't look like the prominent ones make a kit (prothane/energeysuspension), but federal mogul makes some MOOG OEM replacement parts: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/products.asp?cat=10715 |

Thanks dgeist , so the MOOG-K7390 are suitable for my uppers on a 2004 crd (2 sets reqd)? and the lowers MOOG-K7389 ,do i need two sets of these or one too do both sides? and do you have any idea what size sway bar bushes the libby would use ? as its all chart sizes with nothing specific for libby's. It's a gr8 site do you have any knowledge or personal experience with the lower ball joints they sell? ,ive had the ball joint recall but these look to be far superior. |

Jimmy ask Troy ( TJKJ ) he uses NAPA bushings, he should know. You may want to rethink that ball joint thingy, Moogs are not MOPAR. So you'll have to pay to have them installed, and if they wear out you need to buy new ones while the MOPAR's have warrenty for live. I just check mine every 4500 Miles. Find a broken one I check it into the dealer. They fix it for free. Furthermore I have seen several posts of KJ owners with Moogs popping out of their hub! ![]() How's the damage control going? Any word on your A bar? |

They're pretty active in the 4-wheel aftermarket and would not want a bad rep. like that. I do know that if you'd replaced your original joints with MOOG units before the recall in the US, Chrysler would reimburse you the cost of the replacements (assuming you had receipts, etc.). |

It's not the LBJ that breaks, it jumps out of the hub. Could also be due to incorrect fitting? dgeist wrote: I do know that if you'd replaced your original joints with MOOG units before the recall in the US, Chrysler would reimburse you the cost of the replacements (assuming you had receipts, etc.).
Not in our country friend, they've never heard of MOOG. All they will say is 'Sir this is not an original part. Give us your credit card' |

When i spoke to service dept at local stealership he said the recall has been done and after that if they fail you'll have to pay as the new ball joints are modified to get rid of the previous problems.Tony still waiting for insurance to take car in for new bumper, the Abar you found is the closest type i can find to my original but the horizontal bars are too far apart to enable license plate fitting like original one ,i was wondering if they made them in house would they be able to weld them a bit closer as a one off for me? |

Jimmy I would rather wait to see if they can fix your A bar? And first: is the A bar covered by your insurance or not? ( I know my sidebars are not, I have to take out an extra on my car insurance to get them covered...gotta do that someday soon now!) I have a newsflash for JEEP....they didn't solve the problem. |

They wont be able to fix it ,even with a slide hammer they may get the most of it out but it'll look poop and uneven. |
