Yep, as long as you only do highway driving in an urban area, a LONG way away from any serious dust.
While my friend in TX was still living in Wyoming, he interacted with a lot of people and companies that used diesels. One mining company tried going with a reuseable filter to save money, on all their trucks and equipment. Inside of 6 months they were rebuilding the engines on every piece of gear they put them on, they let thru so much dust. Same thing with guys who owned diesels as POV's, every one that tried a "high flow" reuseable filter in that area ended up trashing their engines.
