Thanks for the welcome, have managed to do about 40 miles just dealer to home home to home via work today and must say I am very impressed so far. I originally thought the diesel was very noisy but have altered that thought I think the 5 cyl Merc CRD in my grand was a bit noisier at idle and on the move as the KJ on the motorway at a steady 70 on cruise was inaudible where the Grand the engine was constantly making itself heard.
The ride too is very smooth but in 2wd after heavy rain I did feel the rear axle bite pulling out of T junctions a couple of times when she started boosting.
Economy I live one side of a hill range from work so a return journey is fairly average and I saw 24.9 US mpg so about 27 UK mpg which I am delighted with.
I am going to add a few more things I just won a Startech shifter for £5.00 on ebaly last night
and a set of 6500K headlight bulbs are on the way plus American illuminated side markers are in my sights to replace or amber reflector blanks.
I am interested to see how my wife likes her as I love her to bits already.
