Post subject:  SEGR Kit Assembly

Just received the kit, thanks Dennis.
Was surprised at the number of parts and the hyeroglyphics on the instructions. Gulp.
Did some reading and there is help: http://picasaweb.google.com/Turbo4tim/Ckt and http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=27359

I spent the assembly money on the lift pump that is "in the mail" and the money is all gone so.......get to it.

Anyone else in the same boat?
I will print up TurboTim's stuff to supplement the instructions with the kit for testing and there is also the installation by Gmctd to refer to.

Will warm up the soldering iron and get some solder but the wires, what wires?
Need some wires for the Liberty, maybe if I just pull a handful from under the dash..........

rob,

there is a huge thread about building these things..

you have to go get about 6' of red, blue, green, yellow, black, and 4 6' lengths of white.

take the white strands and stripe one blue, one green, one yellow, and the last one orange.
you now have a positive and negative color coding for your SEGR, red power and black ground.

cut about 1 foot off of each wire to color code the inside of the box.

color code your B&W paper so everything is straight.

here is the thread... http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=23033
