| Post subject: | Another CEL question |
Wife tells me the CEL came on the othe day. Mileage going down hill, a little harde to start in the morning ect. After reading through a few post I think it's the MAP. So, I pull it and sure enough it needs to be cleaned. Also clean the MAF while I was at it. Reinstalled both and installed the neg. battery cable...still ahve CEL. Run to town and have it checked at Auto Zone. The code is P01263 fuel air metering. Was this the MAP/MAF and I just need to have the code cleared or is it something else? Thanks Kevin |

Prolly not, Trevor - long as you didn't get any in the electrical connector - if it's still working, likely you did good |

Yes it's a glow plug according to my Innova. I had the dealer change #3 plug a few months ago after it threw a P1265 code. |

one of the early thing some folks discoved with our beasties that hasn't been mentioned in awhile is that the computer brain was mixed up on what cylinder was what when it camr to reporting glow plus. So it may not be cylider #2 but another cylinder with a bad glowplug. |
