Last week I filled up with B20 @ a handsome $4.24 a gallon, and filled a separate 5 gallon tank for future use. I took a peek in the container today a noticed a handful of small bubbles (10 max) floating on top around and sticking to the side. I thought it was water but Google'd first and found water would be on the bottom of tank. I'm going to pull a sample in a mason jar later and let it sit a day or two to double check. But wondering what may be floating on top? I've used the container for B20 only but it sat empty all winter. I've been buying B20 from the same station and ran it almost exclusively all spring and summer prior to the CAT filter conversion labor day weekend. Barely ran any bio thru late fall or winter. Also I found out the supplier for the stations bio recently changed. |

Do the bubbles go away? Maybe it's just air. Take a small sample in a clear jar, add some water and shake it up well. See if the water stays clear when it separates. If you don't get clear water, don't use it. |
