stopped by the nearest Advance Auto this morning to buy the 6.5 quarts of oil needed for an oil change, noting that Mobil 1 Truck and Turbo Diesel is $6.50 a quart, and the guy at the register told me they are having a promotion: buy 5 quarts and an oil filter for $26.98. So I did. |

Also, What filter was that w/?I did what any sensible person would do: I also bought the other two quarts I had hauled to the register along with the first 5, albeit at the regular 6.50 a quart. |

After I saw this, I went to advance and got 5 quarts (only needed 4) of the 10w30 EP M1 for my old Volvo 240. It comes with a M1 EP oil filter... not a bad deal at all. I run M1 in everything, and I was due for an oil change, so I was happy to see this! |
