I've had the driver's side rear window fixed twice and today the passenger side window failed. I barely use that window. I'm starting to think I'll just find a way to make them stay up permanantly.

My windows work OK, but over the years I have had customers and personal cars and trucks that had the windows bind and trash window regulators. Most mechanics just swap the parts and don't try to figure out why it failed. Since the dealer gets paid, they don't care either. On my Wife's TDI the upper part of the door was bent, so I used blocks along with my upper body mass and realigned the track, now it works great.
When a salvage door is swapped it never fits right until it is aligned, most likely Chrysler made the door fit the body and did not adjust it to have the window work properly.
To be honest a body guy who does car restoration and knows what he is doing will solve the problem.
Even if you could get the dealer to replace the window regulator again with out fixing the window track alignment, it won't be fixed right and window regulators will keep failing.
Body and door fitting is more ART than Science.

Steve

PS For grins and giggles, drive several KJs into an open garage doorway and measure the body width at a selected point, you will be shocked how much the differences will be from KJ to KJ. I would be suprised if it is as close as 1/2".
