Well I finally did it! I put the serg in yesterday afternoon, went fairly smooth except for the location of the pins on the C2 ecm plug. Gregg |

Congrats. When we spoke the other night, there was only one other thing I wanted to mention since you had a question about the one wire...if the engine is shutting down smoothly, I'd say the transmission signal is wired properly. |

You can also hear the relay (on the SEGR's circuit board) 'click' when slipping in and out of neutral from [D]rive... Mark = UFO wrote: Congrats. All pins in a connector must be designated - even the 6 big fat ones................ |

gmctd the C2 plug teminals do not coenside with the numbers on the plug. There are 6 big teminals off the the right side numbered 1-6, then the rows numbered 7-19 ,but this is where it does not make sense because there are 16 teminals in that row?? Gregg |

It still does not ad up I understand the 1-6 then there are 4 rows of 16, the first row the numbers start at 7 and end at 19 the second row 20 and ends at 32, the third row 33 and ends at 45, and the last row 46 and ends at 58?? What don't I see here? Each row has 16 slots how do you go from 7 to 19 if there are 16 slots?? and then what about the other rows that I stated? So where would the C2-17 be?? On the C1 plug evrything makes sense row One 1-24 row two 25-48 row three 49-72 row four 73-96 this all makes sense to me |

It still does not add up I understand the 1-6 then there are 4 rows of 16, the first row the numbers start at 7 and end at 19 the second row 20 and ends at 32, the third row 33 and ens at 45, and the last row 46- 58. what don't I see here?? Do you start counting at the 7 or do you disreguard the numbers on the plug? 16*4=64+6=70 why is the plug only numbered to 58? The C1 plug makes sense row 1-24 row 25-48 row 49-72 row 73-96 thats easy! |

Hi Gregg Your puter is not acting up. Lost site is acting strange and very slow. The diagram shows too many dashes. If you look above at the picture above. Start at 7 and count down and you will end at 19. ????? Steve |

Gregg, Take a deep breath and slowly count again. You will see that there are 4 rows of 13 pins each. See the pics below...

Ahh, I think I see where you might have gotten confused. The pinout from Turbo Tim's site has 16 dashes, I never really noticed that before. Disregard the number of dashes and just use the number on each end of the row and count over from there to find the pin your looking for. |
