Are these the hoses we have been waiting for our 05/06 crds?
ARE THEY NOW IN PRODUCTION?

Samco hoses have arrived ,i have test fitted them ,and the news is good,well almost.Hoses are correct shape and diameter but as you can see from pics the Turbo hose is slightly shorter than stock.The result is the hose fits but will not allow any clearance as it travels over the ribbed airbox pipe,this is not a major issue as both pipes are made of soft materials and the contact is only gentle , but i have told Mark at Samco that i feel the hose should be made around 35mm longer to ensure a perfect fit.He has agreed and is sending out another longer turbo hose for testing.I'm still running the test set as they do fit but would fit perfectly with the addition of the extra length.The quality of the hoses is superb and with the addition of the special lining should give us no problems and will probably outlast the jeep.Pics below

I guess I'm a dummy cuz I don't know this but.... why should I want these hoses over the OEM ones?

Have you been talking to the distibutor in Michigan ( Motovicity Distribution )?

I'm going to send them an email to see if they are available yet.

Thanks to JIMMYJEEP they will now also take in production hoses for the '01-'04 2.5 and 2.8 CRD! First pics of our Euro /Australian hoses. Jimmy should get a kit somewhere next week to see if they fit. The problem we had with the '04+ hoses is that they were to short, the radiators are fitted closer to the engine to make room for the electric cooling fan. These however should fit all our older 2.5 and 2.8's. Just one thingy: The hose that goes on the 2.5 turbo may seem a bit wide (diameter for 2.5: 45mm / 2.8: 50 mm) but that means a gap of only 2,5 mm around the turbo outlet so thighten the clamp a bit more. But anything is better then this....(my 2.5 hoses) Turbo to intercooler Intercooler to manifold

Yup, same thing we did on the US hoses, just a little extra length kept it off of the ribbing.

eeeeh, well in fact there is but since we buy in the UK shipping wil be (to?) high for you guys. Jimmy has been told we CAN get the '05-'07 ( so called U.S. spec ) hoses too! I think someone needs to call a Samco dealer in the US?

Well I've lost my hose before to it splitting. It was replaced under warranty. I was told the new one was better but that coulda been BS. This one is stronger, that is good to know. -c

Ok I talked a salesman at Boost controller and ordered my hose kit (#TCS380) in blue. He told me they ordered several kits back on July 1st, And they would take about 6 weeks to arrive at his store. He has taken several pre-orders already. He also said that he only has a few more Blue kits and the rest are Black. If you do call and order a kit tell him you are from this forum and you will get a discount. They retail for $299.98 and our forum price is $269.98 with an $8.00 Fed-Ex shipping charge.
