Which programming changed the shift points on your TCM?
AF was the original programming for 06
AG
AH
AI is the version that my jeep had from the factory (april 06 build)
AJ is the latest but sucks!

Can someone help me out with this? When were these versions put out?

Also, if anyone has the old shift points in the 06, what version are you running?

My 06 is AJ and it does suck  My build date is January 25, 06 so they didn't recall it for F37. But I've had 3 different transmission flashes resulting in 3 different shifting patterns. The original caused a bad drone at 60. The second seemed fine and the latest causes the engine to over rev in most all conditions. One in June 06 when it got the flahed for the body control module, maybe it was F45. At that time there was a silent, unlisted or whatever flash done to the TCM as it definetly shifted differently. This is the flash that caused third party scanners to not work that recall F31 corrected. When I got F31 the shift points were changed again. While getting the F31 the the tech stated I got F37 and the BCM reflashed also. At that point I asked OK since you did F37 then how about the torque converter that goes with it? The last flash was the worst as far as shifting goes. It red lines too easy and even easy shifts it's at 2400 rpm's.

I would like something between the first and second flashes

Where you able to read from the TCM what the flashes were? My TCM is an AI but reading it via vag-com, I see AJ. I see that yours was the same here http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=30678

No, the first reflash, the silent one in June 06, was the one that killed communications with aftermarket scanners.
