I think i remeber seeing something similar in a post but can't find it again. My problem is when stopped at a light or sign with brake applied(truck needs to be completely stopped). when i release the brake and before even touching the accelerator i get a bump out of the drive system. almost like someone taps me from behind. Is this just slop in the drive system, rearend issue?, tranny issue? can't seem to pin point exactly where it coming from. Thanks for any suggestions.Have suncoast convertor and transgo shift kit and high output kit.

There can be excessive movement in your drivetrain. if you have it in park, climb under it and see how far around you can turn the driveshaft. The more that you can move, the louder the bang can be.

I had a YJ Wrangler with a full detroit the you could turn the driveshaft half a revolution. Made a nasty bang sometimes. Never had any probs with it. It was just a combination of tranny, transfercase, and rear end play adding up.

"Illuminate us on the 'high output kit'....................."

Was just the suncoast clutch kit they recommended with there converter.(seeing i had the inmotion tune) I see they don't have the kit i purchased any more on there website. Looks like they upgraded to what they call 545RFE Mega Kit for $853. http://www.suncoastconverters.com/Jeep/ ... ducts.html
Mine was called a high output kit which was $450. Didn't really look at my kit completely just brought it to the tranny shop for install. I know it had alot of friction/reaction plates in it.

Ok - it's just the Suncoast clutch-pak upgrade - couldn't tell if you were noting a hi-perf engine tune from someone
