I think I have a broken motor mount..... I say that this is part of the drive train?

Am I kidding myself or not?

Thanks!

Generally only internally lubricated parts would most likely be covered.

Ours was recently replaced as well. It was not "officially" covered under our 7 70 extended warranty. But since it took 4 trips to one dealer and another trip to another for them to finally listen to me telling them it was the motor mount we were able to shame them into replacing it for free. It took a few calls and a letter to customer service though.....

But the answer to your question is definantly NO, it is not covered.

Which motor mount broke? Left or right hand side?

Was the mechanic that bad :)

Thanks

Mine was the right/passengers side that was going bad.

I wouldnt say the mechanics were "bad" the work they do is fine, unfortunately many of them lack some basic troubleshooting skills and have no clue as to what a properly running Liberty CRD should sound like.

They are between a rock and a hard place  Between the 15 minute training video some of them were fortunate to get and having to get warranty claims validated properly does not help at all  Sure makes it hard to get/keep these things running properly if the dealers are relied on :?

depends on which 7/70 you have. There is a Gold plan that covers it. However it has a $100 deductible.

Good point....we had the plan that was one step down from the best. Covered window regulator and FCV but not the motor mount :? Be wise to check your plans specifics.
