What does that mean? It´s a -05 KJ CRD Sport. Yesterday I was driving at about 55-60 mph, and did a kickdown to pass a horsetrailer. After that I go back to 55-60 mph and everything was OK. When I was doing the same again, one minute later, the kickdown get the transmition to shift down as usual, but ther were no power from the engine. It was like driving whithout touching the gas pedal more than one cm. I stopped the Jeep and whith the gear in neutral it wouldn´t go more than 3500 rpm, and it was taking longer time to reach that rpm. I stopped the engine and looked wor anything unusual, and shecked every connections, hoses and what ever could be loose. Nothin strange there. When I started, it was back to normal again. Notice: It is ecuipped whith Ferritas trim box. When I turn on and off the ignition key four times, and stay in ACC, the code P0039 lites up. What can that means? |

P0039 or P0390 doesn't register as a valid DTC in the US ECM - P0339 is Crankshaft Position Sensor, which would cause it to go into Limp Mode |

Check your vacuum pump at 26"HG at idle - if ok look for leaking tubing to the vacuum diaphragm on the turbo, and all points in between - if vac system is ok, check the diaphragm for leaking with a hand vacuum pump - reset will need a scantool, or the Cobra DTC reader from harborfreightdotcom - also have some more advanced versions for CAN - or, dealer can do it (at your own risk!) |
