Just thought I would post some good news here, for a change.

In my '05 with about 65k I recently completed a 2,800 mile round trip from NH to Northern Michigan for fly fishing. The car was flawless during the trip. Avg mpg for the trip was 27 with a high of just under 30. This was at speeds of around 75 mph with occasional bursts to 85. The A/C was on almost all the time as well.

FWIW, before the trip I was having problems with hard shifting and "clunking" of the transmission when shifting in/out park. I had the tranny flushed as it has been over 30k since the last tranny service. The flush fixed my transmission problems. The tech said the outgoing fluid was a little dark, but that was all. I don't know if a flush will fix similar issues in other vehicles, but it sure helped mine.
